This is the opening of Vivaldi’s ever-popular Gloria, written for the orphans of the Ospedale della Pietà in Venice. Watch the complete work, along with the ACC’s premiere of a the first work ever to be performed in modern times by one of the orphans of the Pietà – Agatha’s Cantata.

Singet dem Herrn II, by JS Bach

This video was filmed at the Swiss international festival known as ‘Ceresio Estate’, a series of summer concerts in churches around Lake Lugano. This is the second movement from the Motet, Singet dem Herrn.
