    Soul of Anzac

      To mark the 100th anniversary of the First World War, Douglas Lawrence has chosen an absorbing program from six of the countries involved: England, France, the USA, Australia, Germany and Turkey. In his 1916 poem, ‘The Soul of Anzac’, Sydney journalist, Roderic Quinn speaks of the feelings of Australian soldiers and of their families. Composer Brenton Broadstock will set this moving commentary for the Australian Chamber Choir.

      In memoriam John Tavener
      in memoriam John Tavener (1944-2013)
      Sir John Tavener – one of the few composers this century to become known outside the classical music world – died on November 12, 2013. His work is complemented by a mass by his famous forebear, John Taverner and other gems from the rich repertoire of English choral music. Click here for more program detail
