Dear Elizabeth,
Music at the Basilica wishes to include your performance of the Vivaldi Gloria in our 2022 Season program of classical concerts, provided funding applications make the event possible. Our audience looks forward to the outstanding performances that you present each year, and we know that they will enjoy this work. We are always delighted to work with you.
Kind regards,
Jeannette Johnston

To Whom it May Concern,
Hamilton, as a regional centre in Western Victoria, has had a long history of association with the arts. For many years Hamilton, primarily through its iconic churches, hosted the Promenade of Sacred Music, which was enthusiastically supported by locals as well as those further afield.
This year, thanks to the Salzer Foundation, we are able to host a performance of Fauré’s Requiem in our beautiful St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, COVID restrictions permitting.
People in our towns and districts, having endured lockdowns, are even more desperate to get out and about, especially to attend a live concert of quality classical music.
We are privileged to be able to host such a concert with such a world-renowned choir. We are aware that without funding of one kind or another the ticket price would be prohibitive for a lot of our country folk. We appreciate greatly the generous funding that is given for these musical events to occur at a reasonable ticket price.
We are excited to hear that the choir is planning to perform Vivaldi’s Gloria next year, and we hope that with ongoing funding we may have the privilege of hearing this work performed live in our town and district.
Yours Faithfully
David Schulz
Minister of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.

LETTER OF SUPPORT
To whom it may concern
The Robert Salzer Foundation
I am writing in support of the application for funding for 2022 being made by the Australian Chamber Choir. The choir has provided the Mornington Peninsula with access to professional choral performance, particularly through its annual appearances in the recital series at St John’s Flinders. While there are a number of community and church choirs on the Peninsula, there has been minimal access locally to professional performances. During the time of COVID restrictions the activities of the choirs have also been heavily curtailed and the enthusiastic response to the Australian Chamber Choir’s performance of the Faure Requiem on Anzac Day Weekend this year resulted in the need of a waiting list. A proposed program centred around the Vivaldi Gloria in 2022, featuring the Australian Chamber Choir and live musicians, would not only be an audience pleaser but would inspire those singers around the Peninsula whose choral activities have been so curtailed throughout the pandemic. Please contact me with any further enquiries.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
The Australian Chamber Choir has been performing concerts at the Church of the Resurrection since 2014, the exception being 2020 due to COVID restrictions. The choir has consistently attracted capacity audiences. Their first concert of the 2021 season featured a limited number of performers due to restrictions. It was extremely well received by a limited audience, eager to engage in a quality live music experience after a long period of privation. As a long-standing member of Friends of Music at Resurrection at Macedon that organises concerts at the church, I am confident that our audience, many of whom travel from far afield, will heartily welcome a performance of Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi early in 2022. And our committee will be delighted to host the event. We appreciate the professional standard of the ACC singers and the instrumentalists who perform with them, and are mindful of the fact that our venue is unique in this area in being suitable for their performances. I am delighted to support any application from the choir for funding.
Yours sincerely,
Dianne Gome

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I wish to support the application of the Australian Chamber Choir for funding to assist with their program of choral music in regional Victoria in 2022.
Concerts by the ACC in the Castlemaine area have two main benefits:
1. they provide regional audiences with world class performances that educate
our audience and expand interest in choral music, giving impetus to community music making in general.
2. they give enormous encouragement and motivation to local choirs, inspiring them to further develop their own programs.
As is well documented, COVID has impacted on community music making and performance opportunities. A concert from the ACC will raise the spirits and strengthen the mental health of many regional people.
I strongly support the ACC’s application.
