In this entertaining hour of music for the Christmas season, the ACC8 treats you to a historical ‘pick of the pops’, from the late 1400s to the end of the Baroque period and beyond, including works from their Baroque Christmas CD. The possibilities are endless, so the program is strikingly different from previous concerts on the same theme. Barney Schwartz, writing in the Sydney Morning Herald stated “Most of the works are little known, but they are full of beauty, serenity and elegance.”
