Australian Chamber Choir
The Australian Chamber Choir is home from a successful tour of Europe. The choir's first Australian concert was at the beautifully restored Central Hall in Fitzroy with a program spanning several centuries.
The Australian Chamber Choir offers programs ranging through the entire spectrum of classical music. An emphasis is placed on the Renaissance, J.S.Bach and contemporary Australian music.
The Australian Chamber Choir has 18 singers: 6 sopranos, 4 altos, 4 tenors and 4 basses.
The Australian Chamber Choir is the direct result of Douglas Lawrence's 24 years as founder and Director of the renowned Choir of Ormond College from the University of Melbourne.
